This is our list of the SharePoint and Microsoft 365 conferences worth attending from late 2026 through 2027. Every date below was checked against the organizer's own site in September 2026.
There are more Microsoft 365 events than anyone has time or budget for, and they're not interchangeable. Some are built for IT pros and developers, some for the business people running Copilot rollouts, and some are mostly about networking. Below are the ones our CEO and Microsoft MVP, Asif Rehmani, recommends, with a note on who each one suits best. (You can watch recordings of his conference presentations here.)
Training and travel budgets are tight, so you have to convince yourself (and your boss) that a conference is worth the time and money. Here's the case.
If your organization runs on SharePoint and Microsoft 365, or is paying for Copilot licenses and wants people to actually use them, a conference with strong adoption content will pay for itself. (We also recommend a tool like VisualSP to give your users in-context help once you're back at the office.)

Las Vegas: May 4-6, 2027 (with pre- and post-conference workshop days)
Billed as the premier Microsoft 365 community event, it's North America's big gathering for SharePoint, Teams, Copilot and the rest of Microsoft 365, with 200+ sessions and workshops. Microsoft's product teams show up in force, so it's the best place to hear the roadmap straight from the people building it.
It isn't only for IT pros and developers. Business leaders, communicators and adoption leads come too, which makes it one of the few events where a whole project team can learn together.
Dallas: November 2-6, 2026 (Irving Convention Center)
Atlanta: September 13-17, 2027 (Georgia World Congress Center, alongside DATACON and PWRCON)
TechCon365 runs in a few US cities each year, and its strength is the regional audience. If you want more than your local user group offers but can't justify a cross-country trip, this is the one to look at. It still brings in top speakers.
TechCon365 Dallas discount code: use Asif200 at registration to save $200 on your TechCon365 Dallas pass. The code is Asif's, shared with the organizers' blessing, and they credit him when readers use it.
The Atlanta event puts three conferences under one roof: TechCon365 for Microsoft 365, PWRCON for Power Platform and DATACON for Azure data and analytics. You can mix sessions across all three.
Amsterdam: November 30 - December 3, 2026 (RAI Amsterdam)
ESPC has been running for years and is one of the best organized Microsoft 365 conferences anywhere. The 2026 edition expects more than 1,800 attendees, with 100+ sessions and 11 full-day hands-on tutorials covering Copilot, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Azure and security. It moves to a new European city most years.
Düsseldorf: May 31 - June 2, 2027 (Congress Center Düsseldorf)
ECS bills itself as Europe's largest Microsoft business and technology event, and expects 3,000+ attendees. For 2027 it becomes a single unified conference instead of separate summits, so you get Microsoft 365, Copilot and the wider Microsoft stack under one ticket. If you're in Europe and can only pick one spring event, pick this one.
Las Vegas: October 27-29, 2026
Not strictly a SharePoint event, but if your team builds apps, automations or Copilot agents on top of Microsoft 365, this is where those people gather. It offers 200+ sessions and 24 workshops, with a heavy focus on AI and agent building.
San Francisco: November 17-20, 2026 (Moscone Center, also online)
Ignite is Microsoft's flagship conference and covers everything from Azure to security. It's where the biggest Copilot and Microsoft 365 announcements usually land. It's broad rather than deep on SharePoint, so go for the announcements and the Microsoft contacts, and pick one of the community events above for hands-on learning. The online option is worth watching even if you don't travel.
The one-day community events formerly known as SharePoint Saturday now run under the Microsoft 365 Community Days banner, alongside CollabDays in Europe. They're usually free or close to it, run by volunteers and MVPs, and happen in dozens of cities every year. Check the calendar for one near you.
A well-run Microsoft 365 user group meets monthly or every other month, usually for free, with a couple of presentations and plenty of time for questions. Find the one in your city.
A word of caution: some user groups have been taken over by local training or consulting companies and now work mostly as lead generation for them. Look at the group's site and past agendas before you go.
Plenty of Microsoft 365 events run online year-round, and many of the in-person organizers above stream sessions or host virtual editions too. A search for "Microsoft 365 virtual conference" will turn up current ones. Most are hosted by training or consulting firms, so expect some selling along with the content.
