Q. What exactly is the VisualSP Platform?
A. VisualSP is an in-the-moment training and support platform that sits on top of your enterprise applications to help your end users get the job done. No matter which applications you use, VisualSP provides contextual help and information to users in their moment of need so they don’t have to log an IT support ticket and break the flow of their work. The application and built-in content is delivered directly from our Microsoft Azure cloud.

Q. How does the pricing work for large organizations?
A. At VisualSP, we pride ourselves on our simple, transparent pricing. You can learn more about our pricing packages by viewing our dedicated pricing page. Pricing scales down as the number of users scales up and for really large organizations (user population of more than 100,000 users), the price gets as low as $0.05/user/month.
Q. How hard is it to deploy VisualSP?
A. Most of our customers are able to deploy VisualSP to their users within a couple of weeks (consists of deployment and content planning and the actual deployment to users). Q. Are there other companies that offer products similar to VisualSP?
A. VisualSP is in the Contextual Microlearning space. Also referred to sometimes as Digital Adoption. Another player in this space that we get asked about often is WalkMe. The Technical Stuff
Q. Can we get VisualSP for a subset of users instead of our entire user base?
A. Yes! You can deploy VisualSP to a limited number of users in your team / company to start with and expand as and when you need to.
Q. Does VisualSP support modern interfaces?
A. Absolutely! Our system detects and supports the modern as well as classic interfaces of applications. Users will get help that is specific to the interface they are using.
Q. Where is the VisualSP application and content hosted?
A. VisualSP is hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud. All the application components and content take advantage of the speed, scalability and security that Microsoft Azure cloud provides.
About the Content
Q. Is the system customizable?
A. Yes! The content as well as branding is completely customizable. Any provided help item or icons can be changed by you (or we can help do it) to fit your specific business needs. In addition, you can add your own help content (screenshots, reference documents, videos, walkthroughs etc.) directly into the system. That content can reside at any location that’s accessible to your users.
Q. Can we get custom videos, walkthroughs or other type of content produced to plug into the system?
A. Yes. We can produce custom help items that address business use cases unique to your business and plug it directly into your VisualSP subscription.
Q. How often do you update the help content you provide?
A. Our content managers evaluate our help content on a daily basis. We keep our eye on what functionality Microsoft is releasing, what they are deprecating, and we make sure our content set covers all the fundamentals.
Q. When you guys make changes, will it overwrite our customizations?
A. No. Once you customize an item or add your own, that item will never be updated by us – unless you revert back to our content. When you change a pre-built item, it becomes a ‘customized’ item specific to you and our updates don’t touch it going forward.
Q. What content is provided when I purchase VisualSP?
A. We have various content packs to choose from. When you pick a content pack, we simply turn it on from our side and you’ll see the content appear immediately within your VisualSP subscription.
Q. How easy is it to disable content I don't want my users to see?
A. Very easy. As a VisualSP subscription admin, you would just select all the content you don’t want your users to see and click Unpublish. Your users will stop seeing that content immediately.
Q. Which Microsoft 365 applications do you have content for?
A. Most of them! Here is the complete list: Microsoft 365 Overview, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms, Planner, Sway, and Yammer.
Q. Does VisualSP support modern interfaces of SharePoint Online?
A. Absolutely! Our system detects and supports the modern interfaces of SharePoint as well as classic interfaces so users can get help according to the interface being used.
Q. Does this work on SharePoint On-Premises?
A. Yes. The same exact system can be used on SharePoint On-Premises.
Q. If we choose to deploy Microsoft learning pathways content, do we need to install learning pathways SharePoint site as well?
A. No. With VisualSP, there is no need for you to install and maintain the learning pathways SharePoint communication site. All the content from learning pathways is automatically delivered to your users within VisualSP and we keep it all updated regularly so you don’t have to worry about maintaining it yourself.
Q. Is the Teams app customizable?
A. Yes! The premium version of VisualSP is fully customizable and gives you access to usage analytics and full online support.
Q. How do I deploy VisualSP to all of my Microsoft Teams users?
A. Microsoft has made deploying Microsoft Teams apps very easy for all users. Simply follow these instructions to deploy the VisualSP app for Microsoft Teams so it automatically shows up for everyone in your organization.
Q. Can I deploy VisualSP to only select users of Microsoft Teams?
A. Yes. Using the Teams app policy, you can deploy the VisualSP for Teams app to any number of specific users.
Q. Can I hide certain training/help content from users?
A. We understand that at times you will want to hide certain items from users. Because of that scenario, we have made it very easy to unpublish and hide items so only you can see them and not your users until you are ready to publish them.
Q. Does VisualSP Support Dynamics 365 Sales?
A. Yes! VisualSP can be deployed to provide support to your users within Dynamics 365 Sales to help them get more from the many features the platform has to offer. VisualSP sits discretely on top of Dynamics 365 applications so help is always there when needed.
Q. Does VisualSP Support Dynamics 365 Marketing?
A. Yes! VisualSP can be added to support users in Dynamics 365 Marketing and provide in the moment training content as and when they need it. VisualSP sits discretely on top of Dynamics 365 applications, so all users need to do is click on the VisualSP tab to get the support they need.
Q. Does VisualSP Support Dynamics 365 Business Central?
A. Yes! VisualSP can be added to Dynamics 365 Business Central to provide users with the support they need, when they need it, to get the job done in this platform. No matter where users go in Dynamics 365 Business Central, the VisualSP tab will always be there for when they need an extra hand.
