Just In Time Learning for SharePoint Soon to be Available for Office 365

We think the same set of familiar hurdles facing any group of stakeholders in a SharePoint on-premises solution actually face stakeholders in a plan to use the Sites component of Office 365. Either way, if users are not equipped with the tools they need to be successful they will not adopt Office 365 as a computing platform and Sites as a core component of how best to store precious organizational data in document libraries and lists.

So everyone agrees training users is mandatory. The differences exist in the various approaches solution providers take to achieve their objective.

Back in April, 2000, in an article titled Just In Time Learning, Monica Sambataro wrote: "Rather than having employees take time away from work to sit through traditional classroom courses, many companies are using technology-based, self-guided tutorials and databases that allow users to focus on "nuggets" of information as needed to perform specific tasks and solve problems as they crop up." What was true in 2000 has stayed true today, and has evolved into Performance Support: "Performance Support (PS) is any learning modality, resource or asset that is accessible and applicable at the moment of need".The portals of learning Sambataro wrote about back in 2000 have evolved into the best expression of this approach for SharePoint -- VisualSP.

Please join us if you can on June 11, 2015. We are sure your time will be well spent.
